Hell yeah! Untill a live action version comes out, this is plenty for the comic book geek in all of us to dribble over. Quite different to the graphic novel (The Ultimates), but still plenty of fun with some great realisations of well known Marvel characters. Action packed, funny...( read more) and a bit of a dream come true for fanboys. The rest will probably find it incredibly average. A nice start to a franchise I would love to see continue. The Captain America origin is particularly cool.

Awesome enough until a live action version comes along. Groups the heroes together in a rather poor plot but the characters and actions are great. Most have limited time but are true to themselves. Best of all is Captain America. His origin takes us from WWII to fighting aliens. ...( read more)The film deals with him entering a new time with his loved ones gone. There's even a sweet subtle moment as he looks into many TV screens displaying his image as he waves. His bodyguards look on slightly bewildered. Hulk is the other main focus here and again it tackles his curse with a quick but decent emotional depth. The animation is great, better than a Saturday morning cartoon and not being seduced by more recent Anime influences. The vocal talents are also well cast. Overall a great piece for fans.

I never bought comics books. If this movie is the best comic books can write, I now know why. Save your money. Move on to the next movie.

I was quite impressed by this Marvel comics animated film. Based off the Ultimates title the film stays true enough to the comics and the characters. With just some twist here and there to make the story flow. The animation is quite good and the story and action was also great. M...( read more)arvel still has a ways to go to be close to DC comics animated films and shows but this was a good step in that direction. Worth a watch if your a marvel comics fan.

Freakin A, Ant-Man has got to be one of the most lame characters in Marvel. Hank Pym, sure the Marvelverse always needs brains like him, but "ant man" is so unnecasary. Besides, he's a wife beater.
