OUTSTANDING!!!! This film is among Tornatore's best. The music by Morricone is spectacular and the direction is top-notch. This film INSPIRED two of the most popular PG-13 modern horror/thriller films, but I can't say why, or I would be spoiling this gem entirely. DO NOT MISS IT!

A great dark film starring two great persons working in the industry of cinema (Depardieu and Polanski). What amazes me the most in this picture are the dialogues. Giuseppe wrote an awesome piece and I must say I had a great time watching it.

A real mysterious film, I don't quite know when to make heads and tails of it. A fascinating film in terms of interrogation, where we see delving into a mind, and the blending of what seems real and what supposedly is not, very difficult to tell why some shots were placed. I found altogether intriguing, like a confession and we see why the confession. Honestly, it's one of those films I still think about a lot.

I think this is based on the same book as 'Stay' - the book is 'An Occurrence At Owl Creek'. For years I didn't know this, and the movie was a complete mystery to me. But knowing it completes the puzzle. The film is mysterious, intriguing and fantastically perplexing.
