He is an assistant manager at a Reno steakhouse, his 1950 Cadillac convertible is perfect for the warm weather, and his sideburns are just where he wants them. But then he meets Wanda Livingston (Nicole DeHuff), and he realizes his life is missing something, and it's pretty and blonde. The only things standing between Harold and true happiness are his unconventional wooing strategies and the arrival of Wanda's ex-boyfriend (an almost unrecognizable Dylan McDermott), but he won't let that stop him from winning Wanda's heart. This romantic comedy also stars Henry Winkler, Charles Durning, Gladys Knight, Phyllis Diller, and Taryn Manning.

Critic Reviews
-
Andrew Barker, Variety
Unfashionable, irony-free and only sporadically funny, Ari Palitz's comedy nonetheless relies on a strong cast and an underlying sweetness to push its earnest charms to the forefront.
-
Eric Monder, Film Journal International
A good cast of character actors almost save Unbeatable Harold, yet another over-the-top Vegas comedy about lovable losers.
-
Chuck Wilson, L.A. Weekly
Unbeatable Harold is an obvious labor of love that is, much like Harold himself, sweet and occasionally amusing but often a bit grating.
