This is the last great film Seagal made and the final one for a lot of people who considered themselves Seagal fans in the late 80's/early 90's.

  One of my fave action films! Great cast with Tommy Lee Jones as the sarcastic bad guy in a team planning to highjack missiles off a U.S. Battleship. Great fights, shoot outs and humour make this a perfect action film!

Good fun, but it'd be better if that meat-head would get over himself and realise that making yourself invincible does NOT make for good drama...

  I'm speechless, this movie honestly surpassed my expectations at every level. With a great script and cast any one could get behind this action movie. Under Siege is about a former SEAL, now a cook, who is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship. The story does take twenty minutes to get into and when it does start, it never looses it pace. I found the movie to very exciting during my watch and it's one hell of a tense movie. It has great characters, good dialogue, and is overall an intelligent action movie. It has a nice blend of violence and drama that should please any action fan. What's truly unexpected is that everyone performance, even Steven Seagal, are terrific and fun to watch. This has to be Steven Seagal at his best giving not giving us a kick-ass hero to get behind, but it's one of the most enjoyable performance I've seen him give. Tommy Lee Jones has to be praised for his portrayal as the villain as he brings out a menacing and enjoyable villain to watch. It direction is spot on, the action sequences are fantastic, and it all works well to give you a truly memorable and enjoyable action movie. Under Siege is a great action for any one if you're a fan Steven Seagal or not. It's truly an fun intelligent action movie with Steven Seagal as the leading man doing what he does best in a great movie.

  Seagal's best movie, well written, directed and the fight scenes are superior. Tommy Lee Jones jump started his career again as the villain and Busey is great as his henchman. Seagal has fun in this movie and it shows. Action packed and enjoyable.

  Look we can all agree Steven Seagal isn't a great actor, and this film is certainly one of many films that were trying to be Die Hard, but Under Siege is still pretty entertaining. The film is what it is, and you have to love Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Busey as the villains.
