This is one of those film that just about everyone you know has seen so I don't know why it took me this long to see it. I wasn't disappointed either. The plot was decent and the performances were decent. Overall a decent film. No, it isn't anything special and they didn't go over the top with any of it. Some films over do it and it just ends up a mess, with this film they didn't take any risks. I think that was what made this film nothing more than decent. There was nothing new or special about it. I would still recommend it as it was an easy and enjoyable watch. I intend on watching Evolution at some point as well but who knows how long that could take.

MCT:May 11, 2008By far one of the best Vampire and Werewolf films to date! They made them sexy and also scary! I also recommend you watch this dvd with the commentary if you have the extended director's cut!

honestly, honestly now...how many bullets did they waste in the opening scene that only "ONLY" innocent bystanders got horribly injured
