MCT:May 7, 2008Here's my two cents. 1. Kate Beckinsale's hotness cannot be put into words. 2. This movie sucked ass. I'd suggest skipping to the 38 min mark and admire Kate. The story was senseless and confusing, fell off big time from the first. 5 stars for KB, 0 for the movie.

Actually, this was a pretty good sequel. The first film leaves you hanging as another potentially dangerous vampire (along the lines of the first film's Victor), Martin, awakens to the events of the first film and sets out to destroy the bond between the returning protagonist (Kate Beckinsale) and her boytoy/super-hyrbid werevamp Scott Speedman. There's a lot of action and more bloodshed this time around. I was surprised as I thought this would have been terrible, but it was good. I'm sure the third one will suck though.

I love this movie and it has been moved to my classic movie collection.
Kate is perfect for the role of Selene and the plot in this movie is so much better than the first one!!!!
I also know that that a third one is coming out in 2009 but Kate is not going to be in there......which sucks a lot!!!!!!!posted 174 days ago -
heheheee, now than both Lucian and William are out of the competition, I can successfully take over the clan. Now we must see to getting rid of this pesky little Michael and Selene couple. Any werewolf who can take them out i will promote to second in camand.

An awesome movie, much better than the first. Which is kind of weird in a way because in the past the first movies were always better then the second, third and so on. But anyways, yes it is a great interesting movie that is something that should really sink your teeth into. I like these types of movies because it was sleek, gothicy and mysterious a movie with a kick in it!
