Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Like Frankenstein's monster before the lightning strikes, it's all recycled cold flesh and bolts, without a twitch of originality."
‑ Liam Lacey, Globe and Mail
"It's just a weary sigh over how Scream's juicy archness has already turned into boilerplate."
‑ Ty Burr, Entertainment Weekly
"The makers of Urban Legend stock their film with so many one-dimensional, cookie-cutter stereotypes that its potential for exploiting deep-seated fears gets numbed."
‑ Steve Newton, Georgia Straight
"Watchable...[but] a time-waster, with an insulting ending that unfortunately takes it down a few pegs. [Blu-Ray]"
‑ Peter Canavese, Groucho Reviews
"Obviamente, 'lógica' é uma palavra que o roteirista Silvio Horta dispensou neste trabalho."
‑ Pablo Villaca, Cinema em Cena
"A low-voltage drive-in movie, made strictly by the book."
‑ Bob Heisler, Los Angeles Times
"Those of us with brain cells, however, will spit out this Scream retread like it was spider-egg-laced bubble gum."
‑ Sean Means, Film.com
"It's surely not the worst slasher film ever made, but it wastes the hint of creativity it promises from the outset."
‑ Felix Vasquez Jr., Cinema Crazed
"Plot sense is not the top priority when selling a horror movie to 14-year-olds, so it will do well."
‑ John R. McEwen, Film Quips Online
"Manages somehow to be rather endearing."
‑ Kim Newman, Sight and Sound
"A proud product of the Scream cookie-cutter!"
‑ Betsy Sherman, Boston Globe
"Competently made!"
‑ Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
"This is just another post-SCREAM fest desperately in need of a gimmick to distinguish [itself]."
‑ Steve Biodrowski, ESplatter
"Reprehensible and laughable."
‑ Jon Alon Walz, Boxoffice Magazine
"A deeply stupid film."
‑ Andrew Howe, Film Written Magazine
