As a stand alone film its not too bad but as an adaptation it's horrible. The comic is far superior and deserved better. Portman is terribly miscast but Rea, Hurt and Weaving make up for it.

One of the best movies i've watched in a really long time. The parallels of the movie to today blew me away. Govt. using terrorism to take away the rights of their citizens. This by far ranks right up there at the top of my list of my fav. comic movies.
