(2001 Director: Cameron Crowe) I liked this movie better than Porky's and less Minority Report. This is not a science fiction story...and not a true Butterfly Effect...best to watch this one and make your own conclusions. Note: Timeline of Cruise-Cruz affair. Paul McCartney saves this otherwise painful flim. If you are a Tom Cruise fan, then see this movie from a perspective of actor critiques. Watch it only when your head is on securely!!

Nope, didn't like it. 'Open Your Eyes' was much better- that is the original Spanish version with Penelope Cruz.

    Trivia imdb:

*The scene with Tom Cruise alone in Times Square is not computer enhanced. The production was given unprecedented permission to shut down Times Square for one Sunday. At the time, the news ticker was providing updates on the Bush-Gore election. To avoid dating the film, Crowe got permission to change the NASDAQ sign in post-production.

*The sticker on David's car reads 2/30/01, a fictional date. On the commentary, Cameron Crowe says that it was an accident, although it lead to one of the different interpretations of the story.

*The song "I Fall Apart" on the soundtrack is credited to 'Julianna Gianni' - the name of Cameron Diaz's character - and is actually performed by Diaz.

*Studio executives wanted Cameron Crowe to use special effects to remove shots of the World Trade Center after the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001. Crowe didn't remove them, and they appear in several shots of New York.

Amazing. This is one of the many remakes that are better than the original movie.

A easy digested version from the Amenabarīs film. Penelope repeat his role with a good interpretation like Tom, Cameron and the rest of the cast. Is a Hollywood version from a good story. Cameron Crowe Did a good work in this pop version from abre los ojos. With a good soundtrack worthy of the film atmosphere. I loved this film because the director show to us the story in the pop culture in wich every day we live or characters or situations that we wish to get involve. Many references to pop culture from a human side or view
