Plot: A climber must rescue his sister on top of K2, one of the world's biggest mountains.
wow i have not seen this movie in ages but i thought that this was a good movie 2 watch....this has got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie....i think that the director of this Action & Adventure, Drama movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie because the director keeps you on the edge's of your seats throughout this movie because he keeps you on the edge's of your seats throughout this movie...the special effects throughout this movie are really kewl throughout...this is a good movie
A pretty good movie. Entertaining, decent acting, a good story, I always enjoy watching this one again.
I didn't expect that this movie could do an adrenaline push-up for me, I thought it just a usual sports movie that telling about mount climbing... The story itself just ordinary, some people want to climb the top but they got flushed away by a snowstorm and then the rescue team comes along to save them but not all people can be saved... The view that sold in this movie was spectacular, makes you want to do a little mount climbing after watching this movie... Even that I get a little disappointed because not all of the effects are real, I captured some scenes with a snowstorm in it, just a part of the National Geographic or something like that I think... But after all, it's a pretty good movie.. Really pump your adrenaline by watching this...
A breathtaking rescue adventure movie!! The star cast seems weak but the nitro bombs and the mountainous vertical limits are awesome :)
Meh. It's gross and chilly. I felt like I was trapped in ice just watching it. So I changed the channel.
I'll be the first to admit that I probably like this movie more for it being about mountain climbing, than good film making. Yet I think it was a good movie as it had a intriguing story, beautiful scenery and enough emotion and action to raise the momentum and tension.
i love watching vertical linit. it was sooo great i thought Annie(Robin Tunney) was going to die but her brother Peter(Chris O'Donnell) saved her. It was awesome!
I love adventure sports and mountaineering so it was obvious that I would love this movie as well.. the story line was fabulous..
A very very poor movie with terrible acting, script and direction. The best thing in it is the mountain photography, and that you can google and look at. Don't ever bother. Unless you're a fan or torture. Or the director's mum (and if you are, I'm so sorry for you.)
If you're looking to make fun of a movie, this is a great choice. As cheesy as, well, a movie with Chris O'Donnell as the lead.
An exhilarating flick that has amazing visual effects, breathtaking scenery, plenty of incredible action and some great edge-of-your-seat moments.
A Very Good Movie With Great Cast Cool Action Scenes & Exciting & And A Lot Of Suspense I Really Loved It
Awful for every single second. Chris O'Donnel absolutely should not be the emotional fulcrum of anything. Pointless sacrifices are made by unappealing characters with absolutely awful effects. I'd rather be sick for a week then watch this movie again.
This film has a very weird storyline as people are stuck in K2 and saying it is a suicide, which is a bit obvious because for every person who reaches the summit of K2, there are 10 who die reaching for that goal.
The ending shows them failing.
I think there should be action and more geographical explanation.
You probalbly think I'm a bit giving this a 5 star when I am reporting as it is a 1 star.
The lifesaver is, the special effects and how well the Actors trained to become real mountain climber which gives this film a 5 star.
Vertical Limit was a decent movie, I personally liked Cliffhanger more but it still had its moments.
I really liked this film - Admitedly i was about 13 when I saw it - but i remember it being really interesting. I'd like to see it again now I'm older though.
This film was good the first time i saw it i thought it was good the film setting was stunning worth a look
This is another one of those movies that I always end up watching every time I stumble across it on tv.
dont even get me started on this F#$%ing mess id rather die then see this. it was a gong show there was no need for this movie it would be a lot easier if this was not made. in should not be even be called a movie. it was Fucking aful. i could have made a better movie with lego. god dam
Horrible movie. Too many died to save too few. Didn't keep me interested. Ending was okay but not a very good movie.
Really enjoyed this film being a climber myself. I could feel some of the tense moments. Is this a cliff hanger?
Dumb, dumb, dumb. It is somewhat saved by some pretty amazing stuntwork and sfx. Harmless time-waster.

What sets this apart from other survival movies is that this shows all the injuries (and deaths) with shocking reality. You dont really expect it, when a guy tumbles down a hill (probably slipping on an armidillo) you think he will go over a bit of a bump and hurt his leg. But when his leg gets caught between 2 boulders and his body goes over, then abrubtly stops due to the ample CRUNCH of his bones, you go, ooooooooohhh, and cringe. Because it was unexpected ya see? Vertical Limit has genuine adrenaline, and cool injuries, definately worth watching.
