So I am only giving this three stars just because I was thinking it was the actual performance & not just the documentary of the road trip.
I love Vince Vaughn, so I thought he had a good idea with doing this. Wish they would have focused more on the acts themselves, and not quite so much on the other stuff that doesn't matter as much.
I would really especially enjoyed seeing Bret Ernst & John Caparulo's real comedy show, because those two had me cracking up the most.
a interesting documentary, showing actor vince vaughn and a group of up and coming comedians going out on the road, across america doing a night of stand up, showing mostly highs , and very suger coated look at tour, no real tempers or disasters on show, but a great watch all the same, vaughn comesacross his usual self, with his trademark wit coming through, the comedians hes with gettig a good exposure also, also great to see swingers co star, john favrau apear briefly onstage getting in on act, and riffing with vaughn, lighthearted and a fun watch
We went to go see them when they came to Detroit and it was awesome! We even go to meet Vince before the show while he was walking down Woodward and it was just him and us..lol Very funny DVD!
I was expecting a taping of an actual performance, but found this documentary to be really interesting. There was definitely enough performance material to keep me satisfied.
There were some funny moments. Sebastian was pretty good & he no longer needs to be a waiter... awww how nice:-) I wanted to see more Jusin Long!! I know, I know... he's not one of the comedians:-(
If you are looking for insight into the guy behind the Vince Vaughn mask, you are not going to find it here...
Even though the word ?documentary? would turn many theatregoers away, they should first know this is not your typical doc. The important difference is accomplished through the inclusion of footage of the guys? routines. They are genuinely funny and the humour keeps the tempo of the film up. Even so, it is a little longer than it needs to be...

I enjoy stand up and the behind the scenes of how the standups act when not on stage. This delivers everything I would want to see much like how Dane Cook's Tourgasm did. It was, however, a bit too long and I got bored. The jokes were good enough to keep me going for a certain extent but the comedians didn't really keep my interest the whole time to want to finish the tour with them.
Not enough comedy sketches. Too much focus on the yawn parts. It feels like it was made as a keepsake for the entertainers, not really for an audience. Unless the audience was in love with these guys. Which I'm not.
I can not stand crap like this. I have no idea why I thought that I would want to watch it. I only want to see them when they are actually on stage and not all the drama behind the scenes on their tour.
Thought this was pretty funny when they actually showed some of the skits and what not. But it was more of the behind the scenes type thing more then anything. Would have liked to see more of the actual show.
