All a bit daft really, politically totally mixed up. Tom Hanks the playboy and John Candy the typical fool he always is. Was amusing in places.

A very odd movie, but it made me chuckle and that's all that matters. I've never seen a stranger Tom Hanks movie.

One of my least favorite Tom Hanks films. I hated his accent in this one! I don't like it when he plays a jerk!

Not very funny. Kind of dumb. This is before Hanks and Candy really took off with their careers. See "Splash" instead.

this was just sorta on the side of not bad. There is some funny stuff here but the whole thing is overlong, Tom Hank's accent is annoyingly distracting and direction is off creating neither a satisfying comedy or action flix..John Candy works in this and Mike the Knife was brillant though

I just watched this movie a little while ago. Very strange but intriguing and interesting. Pretty funny

I thought the story was okay, but I expected it to be a really funny comedy and it wasn't. I was a little dissapointed. Tom Hanks was okay but this movie really wasn't.

My sister says this definitely fits the stereotyped profile of a peace corps volunteer. It makes her laugh alot.
