There is a reason why this is a dvd only addition and why test audiences made the right choice in complaining about some of this footage, but it's neat to see how they edited footage around and added more narration to make it seem like another movie almost, some funny stuff here.

A much weaker version of Anchorman definitely lacks, but this version has some great cameos and amazing Brick moments.

Abysmal, holy god is it a good thing none of this ended up in the final cut.

The footage should have remained on the cutting room floor you cannot make an entirely different film out of edits...i mean did this film actually have a script??

okay so strichtly speaking its not the sequel its just the deleted scenes sewn neatly together , but when you accept this and do not view it as a ovie in its own right you can t go wrong. Some of the sketches are absolutly hilarious and whilst you can understand why they were cut...( read more) from the motion picture its a great thing that this "movie" was made. Just dont watch it with people who will point out gaping plot holes and say it makes no sense or that scenes from the first film are in it again as i reitorate it is not really a movie, just deleted scenes !!! Iwhilst this may seem a waste of time on premise, the words spidermans balls that hurt, champ confessing his love for ron and ron literally "ripping the lid off of it" reporting in the field should be enough to satisy even the most hard nosed movie purist.

More Will Ferrell garbage...the one shinning light in this waste of film stock is Christina Applegate.
  • July 19, 2009
Not as good as the actual movie but it has its moments. All the charms of 'Anchorman' are there, it's just not as good as the actual movie (although Amy Poehler was a nice addition in her small role). Definitely should be watched if you're an Anchorman fan.

Definitly not as good as the normal but still good for some laughs
  • May 26, 2009
As good as his "famous" companion.
  • May 26, 2009
Doesn't get much funnier than this
