This was quite good seeing as it was made with leftover footage from Anchorman. Although the some of the scenes were the same from Anchorman. If you are a fan of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy you should definately see it.

This was very interesting. There were so many deleted scenes from the movie, they pieced them together and made another movie out of it. The only problem is that is wasn't as good cause it was so pieced together. But it was still pretty funny overall.

It's made up of rightfully-dropped deleted scenes so obviously isn't a touch on the proper film. Only a couple of funny bits. Dont feel like you're missing out if you haven't seen it.

It's good for a few more good laughs, but overall, it's a retelling of the movie with more crudeness.

No where near as funny as the actual cut of the film, but it's worth seeing just so you have some extra things to quote when the original well starts runnin' dry.

Get ready to RIP THE LID OFF IT!

Horrible movie on it's own, but gets one and a half stars for being composed entirely of deleted scenes.

I feel like they were trying to make a movie out of nothing. Come on, they just used deleted scenes and out takes!

Just to think that this film is made up of deleted scenes and unused footage from 'Anchorman' would imply that this is just another hilarious overzealous Will Ferrell film. Since it hasn't been released in Australia and isn't supposed to anytime soon, I was very thankful that I finally saw it. The entire cast is great and hilarious with all round side-splitting performances namely from Ferrell and Carell. Lots of great moments and hilarious jokes. Of course it's just funny, it's not brilliant. If you liked 'Anchorman', you MUST see this! Recommended!

Anchorman is my favorite Ferrell movie, however Wake Up Ron Burgundy is a mess of a movie. It really has no point, its just a collection of unrelated scenes tied together with a narrative.

very interesting to watch, very demontrative of the importance of test screenings, cos this movie isn't really that funny, all the funny lines made it into the legend of ron burgandy. but, like i said, very interesting.

At times, I'd say that this was funnier than the original Anchorman, then it wouldn't be. Maybe I have to watch them in succession...either way, it maintains its silly humour and has some classic parts to it...like the cannibalism bit...hilarious.

Just as good as the original, just a little more plot-holey (But it's not like you actually an epic story for Ferrell)

I wanna see this, this is the funniest live-action movie ever! Brick is my favorite, and I wanna see anytihng with him and Ron Burgendy characters!
However, if this was made in 1994, how is it part two?

I LOVE (and I mean LOVE) Anchorman, but this movie does NOT do it justice!
Essentially, they took all the deleted scenes and plots (and there are a LOT of them), and re-edited them into an hour and a half of "movie" that has no sense, serves no purpose, and doesn't deliver the same laughs the original did.
However, there IS one scene in particular that did score with me, involving Chance proclaiming his undying love for Ron. Definitely funny, definitely clever, but definitely not enough to really make this worthwhile.

This straight-to-DVD companion piece is a sequel of sorts: a collection of alternate improvised takes and sub-plots that landed on the cutting room floor, strung together by an overly expository narrator. There are a few worthwhile moments, but all in all, this is pretty painful stuff. A lot of fake laughing at unfunny jokes, which only serves to make them even less funny. The tie-it-all-together narration is better than the 'movie' itself.

Another piece of corporate schlock where they put out something with the movie title and hope innocent schleps will pick it up.

A true anomaly of a film. A semi-sequel of sorts compiled together from deleted scenes from the theatrical movie and tied together with narration that actually may be even funnier than the film from which it sprung. Difficult to find anymore, I was lucky enough to pick it up in a two pack when the film first hit DVD, if you have the opportunity to buy, or at least watch, it, take the opportunity. A little disjointed at times, and a bit jarring if you've studied the original as I have, but how could it not be? And please, don't watch it if you haven't seen the first. It really does work pretty well a sequel.
