  A superb cartoony Christmas-time opera with the puppy-children Animaniacs Wakko, Yakko and Dot. It's not too vulgar or offensive. The song lyrics are catchy and done wonderfully in classical music style. The full range of Animaniacs characters appear, but they are in a fantasy medieval kingdom setting. It's perfect viewing for the holidays. Definitely my brand of humour. I loved the scary Jerry ride, the sedate Ben Stein Fairy and the guard who was overwhelmed by Dot's cuteness. Hey Warner Brothers (and sister), where's the DVD of this?

  It will certainly remind viewers of the charm and jocularity of its TV show, and contains some of its show's swanky wit and all of its stupefying vocal performances and wondrous musical score, but this movie drags along quite a lot, that it doesn't match the expectation of its premise, equating to a fine enough viewing experience that feels like a very long episode. Followers of the franchise will be delighted as all the characters come together in their fourth wall-less adventure, and even non-fans will find themselves smiling at some momentary scenes of heart-warmth and comedy. The true strength is in the film's ability to evoke a quality of pathos. The bedtime story scene is one of the most beautiful on family entertainment. One of the strongest points is the ending that grants epilogues for many of the series' characters. At the very least, people will come to appreciate that. And, of course, the cast's voice work is still as engaging as ever.   I fell in love with the Animaniacs ever since I was a little boy. Their episodes were charming, witty, and hilarious with wonderful jokes and tremendous and likable characters. After seeing that Warner Bros decided to make a film about the Animaniacs, I was thriled with excitement and Wakko's Wish left me wide-opened as I go with the positives. The animation is brilliant with colorful backgrounds and lovely character models. The voice acting is great with Rob Paulsen, Tress Macnellie, and more. The characters are witty and hilarious especially in the moments with Pinky and Brain along with a horse that Pinky loves. There are two problems that I do have with this film. The story, while having touching moments, is rather predictable at times and the songs were mediocre. Wakko's Wish isn't a classic, but a enjoyable children's film and a wonderful Christmas experience for kids young and old. Rating: 8.2/10
