East St. John, located in the community of La Place Louisiana, ended up sheltering hundreds of people displaced by Hurricane Katrina. Among the people who found refuge there were twenty high-school football players from a crosstown rival. Those players were allowed to join the East St. John football squad just four days before their first game. This film shows the struggles of all the people involved in the story, as well as highlights how they come together in order to help build up a feeling of community that had been taken away. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi
