Greed, Power, Money and assholes in suits - Just like now! A must see if you haven't or want a flashback to the 80's

An outstanding, Oscar winning performance from Douglas makes this a must see. Sheen's not half bad either, which has got to be a first...and last. Enjoyable every time you see it.
'greed for lack of a better word is good'may have been true about the eighties but wall street remains timeless as a movie about morality, corruption and redemption. Truly universal themes that we can all appreciate.

"Greed is Good," --Gordon Gecko. Got to be one of the best movie lines I've ever heard anyone speak. The story always moves, the characters seem real. Nice period piece.
Wall street sharkpreditor meets little stokck broker who wants to be a player. Boy, does he get played. Great movie and cast.
A young and impatient stockbroker is willing to do anything to get to the top, including trading on illegal inside information taken through a ruthless and greedy corporate raider whom takes the youth under his wing.
Charlie Sheen, what did you do with yourself?! One of the sharpest movies for dialogue with a great social message on the ideas of greed, social status, and the stock market. I think this is a must-see for everyone who's thinking about becoming a broker.
Oliver Stone just knows how to direct Charlie Sheen. And how cool is it that Martin is his father in the movie? And yes, Gordon Gecko - insta-classic bad guy. Great all around.
One helluva movie on the concept of "Greed is Good" and how people in the stock markets go out of their way to garner information which will get them to make money before the world does!
I learned more about business in the hours watching this movie than I did in years of experience.
A perfect representation of the 80's and a wonderful performance from Douglas.
