I love this movie for two reason. Because of the lesson you can learn from it. & second because it has my favorite animal as the main characters. The Kangroos' Rules

I wish I could watch every movie ever made but I sadly don't have the time. I'm not interested in this movie because I don't think I'll like it or don't know enough about it to think I might like it. I may still end up seeing it some day though.

One of my all time favorites that I forgotten about. But now I have discovered this treasure of a movie. Ryan ends up learning on how to help others and gain confidence in one's self to stop a evil warrior from taking over and being the ruler of the world. Great action effects for a kid movie.

This is, hands down, the greatest portrayal of ninja style fighting kangaroos that I have ever seen. The only other movie that even comes close is the Roos from Tank Girl.

Man oh man, did this movie bring back memories. For the longest time, I didn't know what this movie was called. I had rented it several years ago, back when I was a kid, and I remembered loving it. I was describing it to a friend of mine who was a big movie buff on the off chance that he would know the name of it, and it turns out that not only did he know the name of it--he had it. So I borrowed it, and watched it again. It was pretty much every bit as good as I thought it was the first time. Yeah, it's a kids' movie. If you're expecting anything adult, you're going to be disappointed (with the exception of a few surprisingly crude jokes). However, this movie has a depth and sophistication a lot of kids' movies doesn't have. There's meaning behind all the silliness. I read on IMDB that this movie was actually made to metaphorically explain the basics of Taoism to young kids. Whether that's true or not, it's still an awesome movie, and one that kids will surely get a kick out of. I've also read some reviews that say that this is a cheap TMNT knock-off. And that's partly true...it is basically TMNT with kangaroos...but there are some differences. Mainly, the fight choreography in this movie is fucking awesome...it's something akin to what you would see in old kung fu movies. And while this movie does have a similar feel-good family movie message, I believe it does a better job of communicating it in a more mature, less corny kind of way. Some of the story's a bit lacking, but hey, it's a kids' movie, and a kids' movie that kicks major ass. Four virtuous stars.

I have been trying to figure out what this movie was for so many years now. My father took me to see this in theaters when it came out, that night is one of my fondest memories of him but I could never remember what movie it was. I just knew that it had these kangaroo people and it was about a boy who had to help them. It just popped up while I was rating movies, it brought me to tears.

I went and saw this 9 years ago for a friend's birthday party. At the time, it was unthinkably cool -- a kid gets sucked into a world of magic, where he befriends a gang of Kangaroo Ninjas (keep up with me now), who draw magic elemental powers from Chinese virtues. Looking back, this has to be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. I remember liking it at the time (it was the talk of the playground for the week after we saw it), but I'd probably have to see it again before I could give it a proper rating.
