December 29, 2009You say that "Watchmen" sucks,but it has 7.8/10 at imdb and 64% at rotten tomatoes,so you better shut your f***ing mouth!Zack Snyder did a really good job here,great action sequences,strong performances and plot twists...far different than other superhero films!Go watch the transformers,underworld or twilight craps and think again of critisizing "Watchmen" you idiots...

April 20, 2009I haven't even seen the movie...but in my city...I have yet to find even 1 person that liked it!!! I have heard comments like, "Do not waste these three hours of your life that you can never get back!!" That is pretty rough. Also, the guy at the movies said, "If you are not a fan of the books...then you probably won't like the movie". So I will be skippin this one. One person might be wrong...maybe two or three....but my whole city seems to say, "SAVE YOURSELF!"

April 8, 2009I honestly think it was an enormous waste of time! I was expecting far more than that...I mean, Disaster Movie is far better than Wathmen. It didn't focus on a point. The whole masked-killer-of-masked-superheroes thing was supposed to be the revolving point, but it drifted towards the sex and extreme violence too much. I would have forgiven the violence and graphic scenes if the movie had had a grabbing plot, a focusing point...this movie was not good at all, except maybe the special effects, but that's it.

March 24, 2009with characters that are no more than takeoffs of the different Batmen over the years (the Bob Kane Batman = NiteOwl, the Frank Miller/Dark Knight Batman = Rorshach, played to Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry perfection by Jackie Earle Haley i have to say), Superman (Dr.Manhattan), and a Catwoman/Batgirl clone (Silk) this film is more 70's/80's era social commentary than adventure epic: do we live in a bad world? what can we do about it? don't women only like a guy if he's man enough to take what he whats from her? i wonder what the adventure epic would've been like? while 100% watchable (a pun, huh?), nonetheless disturbing...

March 15, 2009Greatly overrated. This film was mostly a waste of time...and it is based on the greatest graphic novel of all times!!! What a pity to have missed such a great chance.

March 13, 2009Waste of time, the odd action sequences are not worth your while. The script was incoherent and the acting performances inconsistent. And the torture of seeing the big guy with the blue p*nis for practically the whole movie didn't help either.
I should have probably walked out like the two people sitting next to me, and seen something like The Combination or Changeling instead. -

I admit I never read the comics. I watched the movie coz I was in the mood for super heroes, after watching it, it just made me think : WTH?! I have 4 words for the movie: dark, gory, twisted and depressing. Its dark coz there's so much death; it's gory coz there is so much human intestines and bones are shown in detail as they're blown up; it's twisted coz the good guys are the villains instead and they won; and finally it is depressing to know we can only achieve world peace when mostly everyone is dead. How enlightening...

March 9, 2009I feel sorry, I heard Synder wanted a different movie, but the company producing said to go into a different direction. I want so badly to see a director's cut but I'm afraid he'll still keep in all that ridiculous actions scene. "Gag me with a spoon" (that came from the 80's, right?)
