Even more cheesy than the original dont know why its called waxwork cuz it really as nothing to do with that nor time travel, its more a tale through fiction of books and movies, still quite entertaining and passes a hour or so

Nowhere near what the first one was, and that really isn't saying much. The same classic horror hopping takes place, but this time it's done through strange magical portals, and the climax takes place in a completely non-horror fantasy land pulled straight out of cheesy King Art...( read more)hur movies. Yeah. And can someone please tell me why, in a movie called Waxwork, there isn't even a crayon's worth of wax? I guess they decided to replace it with gallons of melty, melty cheese.

This movie is nuts. They go into basically tv land and live out parts of movies such as evil dead (with bruce campbell no less), alien, frankenstein, don juan, and several others.

Gone is the classic Wax Museum, and things get right to the science fiction, with jumping through different time zones to meet various classic monsters. It's a great movie that takes us to familiar horror movie tributes. I really enjoyed the journey.

Cheesy but it knows it. Still got time portals lol.

They really made this movie look like Evil Dead 2. Other than that, it was not as good as the original and didn't feel like as if it was a waxwork movie. The only credit that I give to this movie was that they continued right where the first one left off. And thats always great t...( read more)o see.

It was good but I wouldn't want to watch it again

I loved this movie it covers all the B-movie areas. From mad scientist to aliens in space. From ghosts to zombies. As we follow our heroes through time, it never gets dull. Recommend to everyone, also you should check the first one out too.

A B-movie in the true sense of the word. The time-travelling plot is really just an excuse to shoe-horn in a bunch of sequences that parody specific movies or genres. It's complete hokum but not in a particularly bad way and it certainly doesn't take itself seriously. Arguably be...( read more)tter than 99% of the dull horror remakes that crop up on such a regular basis these days.
