Roland Young plays a diffident aristocrat who is pressured to marry by his veddy proper family. Imagine their shock when Young falls in love with (ugh!) a commoner. His working-class bride is played by Merle Oberon, who in real life became the wife of the film's producer/director Alexander Korda.
