Plot: Gay people across the U.S. go on strike when a governor refuses to approve of gay marriages.
Corny. Poorly done. I lost count of how often this movie went to Stupidville, including at least three scenes with Stamos alone in with his sign at the governor's gate. If I were gay, I think I would find some of the stereotypes insulting and there are plenty of stupid straight stereotypes as well. Overall - lame with lame icing.
Cute made-for-TV flick. It's hardly racy, but treats the subject matter with respect, without being too campy or stereotypical. A great role for Stamos, you will definitely look at Full House's lovable Uncle Jesse in a whole new light. :)
A thoroughly enjoyable film, especially for a made-for-tv movie. Some really nice performances, and a plot that is both timely (regarding same-sex marriage) and timeless (concerning the relationship between two brothers). It was funny, and I walked away satisfied, and that's more than I can say for most movies that come on t.v.
John Stamos (gay) and his brother Eric Dane (straight) deal with Eric's plans to marry the (James Brolin) governor's daughter. The governor is for an amendment to ban gay marriage. John was planning the marriage, but goes on strike. This is a funny, sensitive and worthwhile movie. Personally I like it better than "Brokeback Mountain"; it's not perfect, but it's really worth watching.
Cute movie about a gay man who is hired to plan his brothers wedding to the daughter of a conseravtive senator. When he finds out that his brother wrote the speech for the Senator banning gay marraige, he goes on strike. Soon after all the gays go on strike and the city shuts down.
very cute movie about two brothers and the challenges of having a difference of opinion about gay marriages being legalized
I want to gay marry, but you cannot against gay married. Please yourself feel opinion lover! I make it called freedom of love means who feel opinion love man or woman or both. It's freedom of love as right of gay and bisexual. Or stright man or woman. FREEDOM OF LOVE!
love, love, love, love, love this movie!!! John Stamos and Eric Dane SOOO funny! made me respect Gay people a little more.
