I took a trip down memory lane with this film and whilst its not bad it hasn't aged particularly well either. There is not nearly enough head blowing off moments for my money!

Interesting concept that has since been copied in various permutations. As good as a B-movie can be.

Very good marks to this high-tech update of The Defiant Ones, which pairs Rutger Hauer and Mini Rogers (both superb) as convicts linked by futuristic collars necessitating their remaining in close proximity... at the risk of impromptu decapitations.

A pretty decent and fun Rutger Hauer movie. There was also a 1995 sequel of sorts called "Deadlocked: Escape from Zone 14", which doesn't seem to be listed on Flixster.

Hauer in the role of the "hero", I think you might call it. A little awkward, but he does well. Joam Chen is good in the villain-part.
