Critic Reviews

  • Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews

A silly uninspired juvenile one-joke film.

  • Brian Orndorf, BrianOrndorf.com

Couldn't even drag a smile out of me. Chalk it up to either old age or the calcification of taste. Or just blame it on Silverman and McCarthy, who found their careers rightfully torn to shreds soon after the release of the film.

  • Scott Weinberg, DVD Clinic

There are a few jokes that hit home quite successfully, but at 98 minutes, you'll probably be looking forward to this weekend's big finale.

  • David Nusair, Reel Film Reviews

...might just be the ultimate wacky '80s comedy...

  • Kevin Carr, 7M Pictures

Hilarious goofball comedy from the late 80s.

A silly yet fun and enjoyable comedy from the 80's. A typical comedy of the time, one for a blast from the past!

This movie is just plain awful, it really amazes me that it has become some sort of trashy cult along the years. Irritating and completely unfunny, it is unbearable to see a bunch of stupid characters incapable of noticing that a man is obviously dead.

This isn't the best comedy of the year or anything, but it is very funny in a goofy, yet dark way, so I enjoy it anyway.
