Unemployed and struggling, Debbie agrees to return to the force to do some dangerous undercover work. There's a killer loose, and he is a particularly vicious breed of sexual sadist, having stabbed one of his victims nearly 140 times in the course of a fatal S & M game. Police suspect a multimillionaire named Law Fuk-tin (Michael Wong), so Debbie is assigned to become romantically involved with him, acting as live bait for what her superiors believe is a very dangerous madman. Naturally, Law is a handsome and winning gentleman, quickly leading Debbie to fall for him in what might be the last mistake she ever makes. Maria Cordero and Wong Chi-yeung co-star in this violent genre entry, which comes across as a heterosexual Asian version of Cruising for much of its running time. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
