Crazy 80's movie!!! Funny and hilarious, with the classic Anthony Michael Hall again in this great comedy on Highschool! Reminds me of back in the day! Even includes a young Robert Downey Jr. So hilarious!!! Love this movie!
Everything the 80s was and should be remembered for. Awesome movie, great comedy and just 80s feel. I wouldn't mind puttin my....in Kelly LeBrock. Bill Paxton as the older brother was hilarious! Even with Robert Downey...without the Jr was good as the jerk.
One cool movie these two guys get into so much trouble when they build a girl from pictures etc.Kelly LeBrock rocks this movie she changes these two boys in to party animals. They experiece more than they would in their dull boring lives. What they started eventually has to come to an end.
I love this movie. My favorite part is when Anthony Michael Hall is drunk and in the back of the pink cadillac and talking like he's black. He's really funny in this.
Wow. The excess of the 80's... Anyway, the story of the two geeks who create the uber-woman is often charming, often amusing, and often cringe-worthy. LeBrock is stunning and smart in a strange role and our heroes are painfully cute. However, the misplaced music, odd SFX, and awkward acting moments drag this to the B-list. It was odd to see a 20-something Downey Jr. in one of the least inspired moments of his career. Thank God for Iron Man or you'd never know...
It's sexist and extremely naff - and yet I can't help loving this movie. Perhaps my fondness for it harks back to my teenage years when I was too young to know any better (and I had a huge crush on Ilan Mitchell Smith - whatever happened to him?). It's a little dated now (especially the 'science') but it still entertains me - especially as part of an 80s cheese marathon. "Do you realise it is snowing in my room goddamit?!" Brilliant!
Two teenage nerds, Gary (Anthony Michael Hall) and Wyatt (Ilan Mitchell-Smith) can't get to meet the girls on their own age. They use a computer to design to create a computer simulation the perfect woman named "Lisa" (Kelly LeBrock) by using her magic powers. They're on the path to a relationship with two cute girls : Debbie (Suzanne Snyder) & Hilly (Judie Aronson) their own age.
Some BIG people today, in their dowdy teenage years. Sure, the movie would be interesting to see. And John Hughes was like the perfect 80's TEEN director!
Anthony Michael Hall, Kelly LeBrock and Bill Paxxton head a cast of stars, some of them obviously playing teenagers, in this mad science movie where two nerds attempt to create "the perfect woman". Why not let itbe Kelly? Ha.
Classic...and maybe I have a chick crush on Kelly Le Brock circa 1987. Maybe thise lips, maybe that stare I dont know but casting was right on for this one.
Very funny, it works well as an teenager movie. The first act is kinda boring, specially the scene where they're drunk. Another problem is that the characters are all very exagerated, but it's just an teen movie, so...let it be.
I think this is the worst John Hughes movie I've ever seen. I love AMH, but the rest of the cast was pretty awful and the plot was just too unrealistic. Sorry guys.
I just remember being a kid in the 80's and watching this movie over and over and over on cable and vhs with my cousin. And the funny thing, the movie still holds up over 20 years later. I love it.
a childhood favorite! these guys live out every teenage perverted dream by creating the ultimate woman. then she schools them on how to act lik a man! a very funny movie!
Two nerds (Anthony Michael Hall, Ilan Mitchell-Smith) create the perfect women (Kelly LeBrock) on their computer. It's a wonderful movie with a classic John Hughes comic touch. Kelly LeBrock is stunning as Lisa.
wow i have not seen this movie in ages i think that this is a good comedy movie...i think this was a pretty funny movie from the 1980's this was just really enjoyable n that john hughes is a great director of 1980's movies (the breakfast club, pretty in pink etc) i think that kelly lebrock is an ok actress but this was pretty funn 2 watch
John Hughes was really the master of teen movies in the 80`s. This one is funny, Anthony Michael Hall proved that he could carry a lead role. Ok, the plot is a bit surreal but the result is enjoyable.
Great back in the day teen movie, when they were actually good about two teen nerds who make a girl on their computer and using a barbie doll who comes to life and makes them more popular with the girls and people at school.
