I guess I liked it. It seems like most of the people who love this movie just really like the Bob character. The rest is pretty silly and rediculous.

I love this movie. Bill Murray is the greatest crazy man that I have ever seen on the big screen. Him and Dreyfuss (as the stuffy psychoanalyst) are wonderful together. The fact that Bob makes the good doctor crazy by the end of the movie is hilarious.

Imagine that, Bill Murray playing a mentally challenged individual, apparently he didn't have stretch for this one...Not a bad flick, yawn, snore.

I am surprised that Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss
have not been reunited for other projects. The chemistry between the two is what makes this film. Great strory with plenty of laughs. I think it is both Murry and Dreyfuss at their comedic best.

Bill Murray's laundry list of ailments at the beginning of the film is hilarious. The rest is average.

I had the idea going into this movie that it was a political satire. Where I got that idea from, I haven't the faintest idea, because it was a straightforward comedy. Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss are both hilarious in their respective roles - Bill Murray as Bob, a cheerful, f...( read more)riendly, but slightly unnerving patient who stalks his therapist. Richard Dreyfuss is the therapist, a self-centered egoist who is determined to keep his whole life within his power and is completely thrown when Bob invades his life and his home.

The movie descends into darker and darker humor, seeming at the end to pay tribute to old Looney Toons cartoons - you know, the ones where the person goes completely crazy trying to hunt the rabbit, or kill the cat who won't stop singing, or any of that. I didn't know how it was going to pull it off, but it managed to do it and leave me feeling extremely satisfied with the movie as a whole. Definitely one worth watching.

This made me feel good about myself and lucky that I wasn't Bob.

A very funny movie. I laugh every time I watch it. Bill Murray is very funny in this film. Even Richard Dreyfuss brings laughs to the film. No matter how annoying Bob is you just have to like him. A great story and cast help make this a great comedy.

  • April 6, 2009
    Bill Murray is hilariously annoying!
  • April 3, 2009
charismatic and a lot of fun, murray has a way of picking comedy roles that seem typical and are anything but. more depth than expected, the chemistry between murray and dreyfuss works almost too well.
