(1998 Director: Vincent Ward) Truly amazing...cried watching this one....I mean heart wrenching........spiritual questions, truths and true love.....

Story morphs in and out of one scene into a previous scene. This uniqure concept of "Heaven" and the afterlife is mind boggling. Top rate! (Keep the box of Kleenex close & handy)

Cuba Gooding Jr. & Robin Williams should have won academy awards for their performances..and then there is the treat of Max Von Sydrow. Keeps you always guessing

this is one of my most favorite movies ever! I saw this movie on Oct. 2, 1998, the year it came out, the day it came out in theater. I saw it up on the big screen. this movie made me cry from beginning to end it seems. there has never been Any movie done of the caliber of this movie, and I doubt there ever will be again. this movie is a One of a kind. there is None like it. the vivid colors used, the way the tapastrys came to life, the imagination of each moment, the emotions displayed, the enduring love that even death couldn't overcome or seperate. all i can say is Wow! Magnificant job you All did, who took part in the making of this movie. I love this movie so much that I own this one on dvd. I wonder if a love like is portrayed in this movie, is even possible? I loved the raw emotions that robin showed, when he was told there was no way to reach the love of his life, that there was no way he could bring her back, this just goes to show you, that even in Death, Love is Never Ending

I don't understand why people want to keep labeling this one as "depressing." This movie is so full of hope and the beauty of the cycle of life. What's so depressing about that?

Excellent movie, want to watch it again and recommend to my friends. the story tells about the love of the family, the everlasting love of the couple that even in hell and in heaven they never separated.

The damn-movie was way too sweet. The book was a little more vivid like they always are, but you can really get good fear from hell if read the book. Also, their is a different variation with how and who the people are affecting the main dude's life, like if they were the kidz or vice-versa. Thus, it was a fr33king sweet-ass movie....

What a great movie! The book was just as good, if not better than the movie. This movie helped me through the loss of someone very dear to me, so it will hold a special place in my heart. This movie is full of love, hope, and desire and I recommend it to everyone.

i would suggest the idea of God is Not what is important here. what is important is the way in which we ourselves percieve life. that a sense of wonderment is what truely humbles us into being "good" people. that Death may not be a comfortable escape, but as is life a challenging journey frought with hardship and rewards. we cannot expect "heaven", we must create it

I agree...it has a wonderful view of what could potentially be heaven...of course its gonna be better than that! :P but it gives you a great visual...And the love story is just wonderful. It's kind of like what Christ did for us...only he didn't go to hell..he came here on earth..and suffered a great deal just to bring us back home with Him! :D
    Godbless!!

This is a very good movie, God's love is throughout this movie! Even though this movie can't really happen and does not follow the bible, it is jus a fun fantasy movie and it has {Heaven} in it and it is a good movie!
