A really REALLY sappy film starring the wonderfully fat cheeks of Ashley Johnson! Yay!

This movie was sappier than a football field full of fern foliage. Holy aggravating alliteration Batman!

Helen Hunt has never been attractive to me, and I sincerely doubt that she has the a...( read more)bility to not play the same fucking role in every movie she's in (As Good as It Gets is a close twin to this flick). BUT Mel Gibson is kinda endearing as the chauvinistic dude with the big dick who struggles to really "get" women.

The Frank Sinatra score was on point, and I ignored the ridiculous idea of Mel Gibson passing up the incredibly hot Marisa Tomei for a woman with a forehead the size of Zimbabwe well enough for me to give this juicy sucker 3 fat stars. Good job Geebsun.

"If you know what women want, you can rule!"

Never been a big fan of romantic comedies, only few of those kind of movies are indeed good, like "Love Actually" for example. What bothers me about romcoms is that they tend to be totally predictable and not that funny.

So, how do t...( read more)hey try to get the audience to laugh? By making Mel Gibson wear makeup and tights? Not that funny. Some scenes were somewhat funnier but all in all, the comedy in this movie was lame.

Whilst a chauvinist pig tries to 'learn' what women actually want, Nancy Myers, the director, added a nice subplot to the movie, where an employee with suicidal thoughts gets Gibson's characters attention. Those scenes included Judy Greer who is always nice to look at. Same could be said about Marisa Tomei but unfortunately her screen time was very minimal.

"What Women Want" delivers some nice scenes but in overall, the film is just another lame romcom. What do women actually want then? The film doesn't give answers to that question, love could be an easy and unsurprising answer but this I do now... If men could read womens minds, life would be so much easier!

I found this film boring I just didn't like it and didn't think it was all that well delivered.I just don't know much more about the storyline now than what I did before this film had even started.
This film is only for certain audience this film will not appeal for all viewers ...( read more)so please keep that in mind.If you like the actors that was in this film or like love stories or stories like this then you may want to take the risk and check it out but I just found it boring and just found it uninteresting.
Overall I didn't think this film was delivered well and I think most of the viewers will be dissapointed with a film like this. The story is not very detailed and its very hard to entertain the audience and this film as delivered nothing to make this film original or different from any other film.
