Passing grade, Bassinger was the only redeeming quality in this movie. Hass' incessant screaming of "Della" was enough to stop the movie right there, and one was thinking.."Please can you just catch and kill her so I won't have to hear you scream Della" ever again". Bassinger r...( read more)unning for her life started to get irksome (the entire time she was carrying tool box) and systematically killing off each of her annoying hunters. The hunters: an ethnically diverse group of bad actors, with cliche` Ethnic names, and each got a whoopin' from Bassinger. Cheezy, predictable, but all in all not too bad for a 'b' movie, though obviously a 'b' movie.

I...hated...this...movie. Had a great premise, but then it decided to have the characters all act like unbelievable retards. Seriously, Kim Basinger's character was so ridiculously stupid, that about halfway through the movie I just wanted the bad guys to win and kill her. If ...( read more)anyone deserved it, she did for being so stupid. It's like she wanted to be caught the whole time. Not only that, I like how the moron bad guys all of the sudden gain Aragorn worthy tracking skills, and how they always seemed to go the direction she did in a huge forest (even before she started doing genius stuff like screaming to God in the middle of the stream..and then peeing?) BOOOOOOO.

Suspenseful in parts and dull in others. Kim Basinger was quite likeable in this role, but it was a pretty predictable storyline and one that seems to be a recurring theme recently, so needed some originality to go along with it.

This file is worth a look

It's the characterisation that screws up this film. It starts well with Haas proving himself to be a total psycho and Basinger as the repressed suburban housewife. Suddenly she becomes Ms Rambo, stands in a pond asking where God is, Haas monologues for half an hour, they kiss, sh...( read more)e shoots him and then returns home and shoots her husband.

This movie was okay, I don't like a lot of blood or guts, so this movie was okay.

Damn this was a good movie. Loved the ending. Kim Barsiner played a great part too.

This movie is horrid. I don't understand how or why I should feel sorry for Kim Basinger's character other than the fact that her husband is an asshole and treats her like shit, she ended up killing everybody (and causing the death of 2 people) in the movie except her own childr...( read more)en. Sure it's a revenge movie, but is it really a revenge movie when all your villains are a bunch of dorks and you feel more sorry for them than you do the character that is actually supposed to evoke feelings of sympathy. I don't know, this movie is just ass backwards to me. All the characters are idiots, in fact everything in this movie happens because the characters are idiots, there's a term for that that I can't quite remember right now. The dialogue is the worst dialogue I've heard since X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it might even be worse than that. It seriously is horrid dialogue. But Kim Basinger is still a hottie, even at 55 (yes, even with her weird wrinkly neck). I also don't buy Lukas Haas as a good villain. He was good in Brick because his character was shrouded in mystery and he didn't have to raise his voice a lot. In this movie he raises his voice a lot and he sounds like a pre-pubescent boy with his voice breaking and shit. I can't really find one positive thing to say about the movie itself, other than it had 2 fairly adequate death scenes. Other than that, this movie was just horrible and in no way should anyone watch this. If you wanna see a good female-revenge movie watch The Brave One (yes despite its obvious flaw) or better yet...watch Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2, you can't get any better than that.
