With dreams of becoming gangsta rappers, white-bread Iowa boy Flip (Danny Hoch) and his pals (Mark Webber and Dash Mihok) adopt all the style of urban hip-hoppers -- and the townsfolk think they're plain crazy. When Khalid (Eugene Byrd) moves to town, the boys convince their new black friend to take them to Chicago and hook them up with everything ghetto. The comedy features cameos and music by Snoop Dog, Fat Joe, Dead Prez, Slick Rick and Mic.

Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Many scenes of confrontation play like heavy-handed, uncomfortably forced improv."
‑ Lisa Nesselson, Variety
"Or, Pretty Fly for a White Guy: The Movie."
‑ Michael Dequina, TheMovieReport.com
"The fish-out-of-water scenario is frequently hilarious, and the linguistic prowess of the actors is impressive."
‑ Dwayne E. Leslie, Boxoffice Magazine
"Not funny. At all."
‑ Christopher Null, Filmcritic.com
"A one-joke film in desperate denial and a terrible vehicle for Hoch."
‑ Nathan Rabin, AV Club
"...a woefully unfunny rap-oriented satire that's about as amusing as a carjacking...[a] tired and baseless culture comedy"
‑ Frank Ochieng, Movie Eye
"Danny Hoch gives a shrewd performance as a rapping misfit."
‑ Stephen Farber, Movieline
"Nothing new or progressive here."
‑ Eric Monder, Film Journal International
"Whiteboys is almost as short on substance as its poseur protagonists"
‑ Luke Y. Thompson, New Times
"Many of the characters are neglected, even though most are not of much importance, but that's because Hoch and company don't take any time to add the correct amount of realism to it."
‑ Greg Muskewitz, eFilmCritic.com
