funny and old classic
How could you not like this movie, Ive seen like not kidding 50 times cant get tired of it
A funny crossover between real-life and cartoons. Great for the kids but after seeing it recently, not so entertaining as an adult.
To make a great classic film i think it has to work on several different levels and this one not only plays on many different levels It scores tremendously.
It is a great childrens movie. With zany classic characters such as Roger, the Weasles, and Benny the Cab. They are orig...( read more)
One of the very few movies that was able to mix animation with live action and make it believable. A groundbreaking film in terms of creativity and helped pave the way for future live-action/animated hybrids. P.S. Jessica Rabbitt still turns me on.
The Film That Blurred The Line Between Animation & Live Action! Robert Zemeckis Is A Genius & Uses A Lot Of Great Tricks To Make The World As Vibrant As A (Maroon) Cartoon And As Depressing As Life. Bob Hoskins Is The Man As Eddie Valiant & Charles Fleischer Is DAMN Brilliant As ...( read more)
Christopher Lloyd (Dr Doom) framed Roger Rabbit! There you go, you don't have to watch it now!
the final goodbye (in my book any way) to classic cartoons couldn't have been much better.
"OUTTA MY WAY, PENCIL-NECK!" "DAMES?! WHAT DAMES??! Jessica and I are gonna happy again. You'll see. YOU GOT THAT?? HAPPY. H-A-P-P-P-I!!!"
I actually disliked it. Zemeckis handles a concept that is ultimately a little kid's wet dream: to live with their favorite cartoons. It failed; I remember hating this film as a kid, and I highly doubt that being the main purpose of the film.
49/100
hmmmm mas vieja todavia cuando niņo I was in love to the red hair woman AUUUUU!!! wof wof
I love the involvement of every cartoon character in the movie, a good plot, and good ending, cannot review more, because that's it.
One of my favorite movies from my youth. I love classic cartoons, still do, so for me this movie is a real treat. It's funny, has great actors, and the story is intriguing.
And, lets be honest, Jessica Rabbit gave me very funny feelings when I was a little kid (even at age 8!).
I always had a thing for Jessica Rabbit. Her singing voice more than anything even though it was a completely different actor on both parts. This movie looks as stylish now as it did when I was a child. Another film ahead of it's time. It still hasn't lost its touch.
TYis was a truly fun film. It is quite probably the best example of mixing live action with cartoon characters that has ever been done.
to be locked up with roger rabbit & jessica.. WOW that be sweet.. WELL if jessica was real that is
Amazing how much work went into this movie, a masterpiece that shouldn't be forgotten.
"Who Framed Roger Rabbit" was a breakthrough in technology by being one of the first movies to successfully combine cartoons with real action, and it's also a good movie. Mr. Valiant's (Bob Hoskins) brother was killed by a toon, but he doesn't have any hard feelings toward toons ...( read more)
Yes I love cartoons so what ?? this is a classic, a bit twisted, crazy, funny... and the cartoons were nicely "integrate" at the time (not sure now.. but at least jessica rabbit was)
Mostly fun for the characters you see and recognise along the way and its ability to poke fun at itself. Revolutionary for its time and still holds up as a good filck to this day.
One of the first films to use a combination of Actors and Animation. A fun film for all the family, with a typical Private Eye settings but with an added difference.
Fantastic live action/animation hybrid. Great fun all the way, right down to the "gags in the margins" (sly in-jokes). A true classic.
This is the best Robert Zemeckis movie for me. It worked so much better mixing cartoons with real action than, for example, Space Jam. Bob Hoskins does a terrific "team work" with Roger the rabbit and it is one of the last works of the awesome Mel Blanc. Plus, Jessica Rabbit is h...( read more)
