a brilliant movie with great animation
This is the best Robert Zemeckis movie for me. It worked so much better mixing cartoons with real action than, for example, Space Jam. Bob Hoskins does a terrific "team work" with Roger the rabbit and it is one of the last works of the awesome Mel Blanc. Plus, Jessica Rabbit is h...( read more)
A zany and over the top blend of live action and animation. The first half is riveting. The 2nd half begins to lose its steam and its audience. Still, it's well worth seeing for its courage, craziness and humor.
A fascinating movie mixing reality with fantasy while keeping the film PG. U have your detective, femme fatale, and a sucker. All the while there is no real violence or sex ... just Paddy Cake. haha
I haven't seen this movie since I was 10 and it makes me very happy that it still holds up pretty good. =)
So much to love! I especially enjoyed the dueling pianos of Donald and Daffy, Mickey and Bugs sky diving, the effects combining the live action and animation, the film-noir-ish mystery, and all the old Hollywood aesthetics.
You can't hate this movie. No one can. There has to be something inexplicably wrong with you to hate this movie.
All my fantasys of cartoons being alive come into a reality in this movie.
Christohper Lloyd scares me sometimes. I liked all the cartoons from the different companies, and not just one made it into the film.
rating this just remind me how excited i am to try out the roger rabbit ride at disneyland...
it's been so long since i've seen this...but i know enough to remember it's superb.
Oh Jessica, you can be a pin-up for sure. Roger Rabbit definitely wasn't doing THAT justice.....
my niece had me watch this 9 times in one day i like it but i hid it and haven't watched it since
This created a new genre, internet models (black, white & latina) who call themselves Jessica Rabbit
Freaking loved this film! Such a good combination of cartoon and real life! One to watch
Another movie that I haven't seen in over 15 years...I need to see it again...
Bob Hoskins is great in this cross between a 40's Film Noir and a 5 minute Warner brother cartoon. Roger Rabbit is less fun than his cartoon counterparts - the baby and Mrs Rabbit - but still delivers a lot of funny lines.
