The director did a fantastic job! This is one of the best directed movies I have ever seen!
Alan Rickman did a fine job as expected. Excellent actors and wonderful dialogs. Briliant!
Hard to watch. Good film. Great direction by Alan Rickman. Hope he writes and directs again (even though I love seeing him on screen).
I am confused by the whole plot, but its a beautiful cast, and setting.
Saw it years ago, want to see it again. Full of typical British-style lines. Interesting.
Like all movies from the UK it was strange, very strange. But I have two words...SEAN BIGGERSTAFF! *faints* I love him, he's like 13 in this movie though...but he's just so cute. I give this movie 5 stars just for him being in it. That's right bitches!
one of the best! subtle and enduring. rickman's talent as a director can not be overstated.
Alan Rickman's director debut. A beautiful story about love and loss of sorts.
awesome movie...x) and i watched it because well i love emma thompson and because it sounded interesting...and because alan said in his interview in japan that if we love him, we'd watch it...so i did...haha.
Quirky and very Scottish. I liked it - great debut from Alan Rickman as director.
This is quit slow, British movie, about real people. Well done, but not quite my cup of tea.
really want to see this film, got such good actors and actresses in it!!!
Hmm...maybe if I had more information, I'd be even more interested....I do like Emma Thompson...
Alan Rickman's directiorial debut does not come up short with this masterpiece.
