Eichmann rose to power in the Nazi Party, in which he served as head of a special unit in charge of abducting and exterminating Jewish people. Eichmann implemented Hitler's "final solution to the Jewish question", which he deemed necessary for racial cleansing and the establishment of a pure, superior Aryan race. At the end of the war, Eichmann fled to Argentina. He was tracked down, and brought to Israel, where he stood trial for his savagery.
