  Just as good as the first pretty much, if maybe not quite as tense or shocking. Very gory and violent, just like the first and similar to the hills have eyes. If you can handle the gore and are a horror fan you'll enjoy this.

This one has more of a humorous tone which lessens the fear factor considerably, and the loss of any mounted suspense is also a disappointment. But this film is still enjoyable as it has some wicked gore scenes and Henry Rollins was great - he should have been the focus of the movie instead of the fame and fortune seeking youngsters who only gave justification for their deaths rather than have you feel sorry for them. It's a must-see for gore-hounds, but overall it was pretty routine.

  Much better than the first film, I can see why they thought this was a good direction. A few bad actors and predictable ending ruins it. Great landscape and cinematography once again.

  Wrong Turn 2 has all the clichés of a typical teen slasher movie. The plot of the movies is pretty much the same as the first, just a different set of people and with a different reason for being there. Laughable, predictable, but easy watching horror.

  "Birth defects. No sh*t." The "crazed inbred cannibal hillbillies killing dumb dudes and hot chicks" genre isn't one of my favorites, but I'm up for the occasional decent movie. Wrong Turn 2 doesn't do much to turn the genre on its head, but at least it's entertaining and offers a few characters that manage to be more than the tired horror movie staples that we've seen countless times. The scenario that brings our victims to the backwoods where the cannibals make their home is a reality show, hosted by a tough-as-nails ex-marine. There's the expected annoying, sleazy, and slutty characters, but we also get a few who are likeable and sympathetic. So, you get the pleasure of cheering the deaths of the crappy characters, while hoping that the others can somehow get out of all this alive. The actors are all probably people you've never heard of before, but they do their jobs pretty well. The cannibals themselves look suitably dirty and inbred, which is about all I expected. There are a few gruesome deaths, but really nothing more over-the-top or violent than what I've seen in other movies. I could have done without the unnecessary jab at religion that was shoehorned in towards the end, but all in all, I'd say that Wrong Turn 2 was okay. If you're really into these kinds of flicks, you'll probably like it even more than I did. And if you're anything like me, the most disturbing scene in this entire movie will be the one where two of those subhuman monsters start making out. Now THAT is horror.

If the starting of a movie turns out to be like this, do you really feel like watching the rest of it? But I did (I wish I didn't). Kimberly's acting was horrible (no wonder why I haven't seen her before). Like she lost her chin and she looked as if she got a new big pimple. It should be like screaming (that will make your ear hurt) because of pain but she didn?t do that. Well she did but like I said (OMG I'VE GOT A PIMPLE ON MY CHIN!) Anyway, They didn?t keep the story same. They made it even more disturbing than the first one. Lots of cutting and bloods and indirect porn scenes are in it. This movie is so so.

  Wrong Turn 2 is a much better film than the first film. It's a terrific improvement on the first film as this film includes more gore, violence and sex. A promising thing about this film is the inclusion of Henry Rollins in the film. He does a pretty good job and elevates thew film to a whole new level. What separates this film to the lackluster first film is the fact that this film is slightly more original than the first film, only by a small margin because after all, this series, isn't too original. But for all it's worth this is a superior sequel to a dull movie. My guess is that the filmmakers this time around knew what they where doing doing in terms of creating tense, suspenseful uneasy situations and in this film, you have many situations like. Unlike the first film, which lacked scares, Wrong Turn 2 has a bit more to offer.

  Its another horror/gore movie that relies more on the gore and death factor rather than a point or good storyline. It is gorey that does make this movie watchable with some sick deaths by these mutilated weirdos! its based on a group of people who are starring in a reality show based on survival in the woods but what starts out as fun and games trying to win the 100k prize turns to be a horror filled day out at the woods! and trying to survive the weird mutants! Its not very exciting and not got a good storyline but has a few jumps and really good gore which may be interesting to other horror fans!

  Almost heaven, West Virginia . . . <p> I don't think the West Virginia Visitors Bureau appreciated this movie as much as they did John Denver's love song for their homeland. Just guessing . . . <p> I tell you, if the <i>Wrong Turn</i> franchise were a publicly traded stock, I would invest -- even if they can't get Eliza Dushku to play in every one. Now this is a horror film series that has the kind of sense of humor about itself that you really need when you make movies like this. I will grant you that there is no moment as hilarious as Paris Hilton getting the pipe through her noggin in <i>House of Wax</i> -- her brain of course, being her most vulnerable spot -- but the laughs here are pretty good, and the cannibal family in #2 is really kind of adorable compared to #1 -- and there are females this time. One of the problems with #1 was that there were no women in the clan, so you know we were talking about some type of really deep inbreeding. <p> Nuclear waste and inbreeding. It never ceases to amaze me how that combination can never ever be good news. For sustained horror humor, this one is a real Halloween treat : )

  Mutated hillbillies can be a real pain in the arse. And eye socket. Basically, more of the same from the franchise that wants to be the next Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This time out, instead of Eliza Dushku, we get the quite gorgeous Erica Leerhsen (from... wait, you'll never guess - The Texas chainsaw Massacre remake) and the less than lithe figure of Henry Rollins as the main characters. A reality TV show show called The Apocalypse sets up it's cameras in the same mutant-infested forest as the last film and the local residents quickly set about slicing and dicing the interlopers like an enraged Gordon Ramsey. Body parts fly off in every direction and blood gushes, spurts, leaks, drops, squirts and cascades in virtually every scene. If you could define this movie in one word, it would be "wet". There's a gratuitous boob shot and obligatory sex scene to keep the titillation quota up in between the carnage, but there's so little story that you could write it on the back of a matchbox. Not that story actually matters here one little bit. Rollins is an ex-marine turned TV presenter who, when he realises the hills not only have eyes but bear traps, axes and other assorted blunt and sharp weaponry, turns into Arnold Schwarzenegger faster than you can say "Last twenty minutes of Predator". I'm not giving anything away by saying the bad guys get killed and the prettiest girl survives, but poor old Hank? Well, let's just say he's not likely to feature in another sequel... All in all, it's your typical teens/twenty-somethings against psychos scenario. All is played out with arse-numbing inevitability, with only the gore and death scenes to keep you wondering what's going to happen next. Basically, if you didn't like the first one, then you'll hate this. Oh, and it contains probably the most unintentionally stupid tagged on twist ending I think I may have ever seen. One of those moments that if you're watching it at the cinema, you'll burst out laughing, feel embarrassed for a second or two before you realising everybody else has done exactly the same.

  It's great that Wrong Turn was made because that caused Wrong Turn 2 to be made!<br/><br/>This sequel is a hell of an upped ante. More bodies, better kills, more original premise, better script, improved effects. For horror fans, the first movie is just a regurguatation of so much that we've seen already, but Wrong Turn 2 allows itself to be self-deprecating and campy, which makes for a much better flick.<br/><br/>There are some fantastic kill sequences in this flick that I won't soon forget. My favorite is when a girl is perfectly halved, and two creatures each drag a half, leaving minimal blood behind (which means that I think it is staged in a way that it knows this is ludicrous having two perfect body halves, so why make that more outrageous by showing us massive amounts of blood so early on?). Because plenty later, we get all the blood splatter we want, and it's mostly the creature's blood. <br/><br/>This flick has actually got some scary moments, some grotesque moments, some funny moments, and some thrilling action moments.   Not any better or any worse than the original. This is enetrtaining slasher stuff. A few surprising kills and nice twists keep the fun factor of the original. It never fools itself into thinking it's breaking new ground, even ripping one scene direct from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Henry Rollins just plain kicks arse. A disturbing sex scene and some comical relationships between the mountain men lightens the mood. Could have been even more enjoyable without the high concept reality show storyline.

  The movie itself only rates half a star, but I gave it an extra half because it was pretty moist in parts, and another half for Henry Rollins. Without Henry, I wouldn't have made it through this piece of shite.

  This has to be one of my favorite sequels of all time. This is also one of the bloodiest\goriest movies I have ever seen. A classic.

  Extremely gory sequel that takes the inbred-cannibals into The Hills Have Eyes vein caused by chemical waste. Henry Rollins in an over-the-top part shows why he is fun to watch.
