    Wrong Turn has to be one of the best cannibal movies to make it out of the 21st century. And is guaranteed to make you never look at the woods the same way again. The plot is basically a group of post college young adults get trapped in the middle of the woods and are stalked by ...( read more)a group of mutant cannibals. Do not be fooled, I know that it sounds like it's been done a million times but Wrong Turn is 100% all original. Acting, you get a phenomenal performance from Eliza Dushku who I am a big fan of. You get reasonably decent performance from the supporting cast. And gore it's just nonstop you get a pretty wicked decapitation, arrows through the back, cut off ears and legs, arrows through the gut, head being almost cut off by barb wire and a lot more. I also have to give them credit for the makeup job they did on the three cannibals, they looked absolutely amazing. I also rather enjoyed the way that this was shot. There were quite a few scenes of them in the woods at night and the director didn't let the darkness take over, you were able to actually see what was going on and have it remain realistic. The soundtrack was pretty plain nothing memorable but it did the job and you didn't really miss it. One thing that I would have changed would be the poster. It makes the movie look like a cheap stereotypical DTV which Wrong Turn is anything but. Bottom Line Wrong Turn had all the aspects of a great horror film and executed them perfectly with great acting, unbelievable gore, and a surprisingly original plot I say if you haven't already, go get this. It?s sure not to disappoint.

    When first hearing this movie name i wasn't at all interested. but surprisingly Wrong Turn is a above average thriller/horror film.

    The idea is repetitive, but the amount of suspense and heart-pounding adventure is crazily good. and last want to add, the villain. Yes, i hate whe...( read more)n i see a movie where the villain is like some sicko ass, but this one is normal. They are scary asses cannibal without excessive CGI.

    Oh, great death scene too!

    8/10.

    I loved this movie .and i watched it several times, the ape people scare me and make me laugh all at the same time, i think my friends and i rented it several times until we finally decided if we were going to watch it that much we should prob buy it.

    Wrong Turn is a very tense piece of work, and with a very short running time, manages not to outstay it's welcome and maintains it's pace. It's pretty good albeit formulaic, a good ride none-the-less.

    This was actually better than I thought it would be! Yeah yeah, this was one of the those movies where teenagers get lost in the woods and so on.. but this was entertaining!     Chris Finn(Desmond Harrington) is a man who is late for a very important interview. The group seperate and try to find help but instead stumble into a cannibalistic family. Yup. Thats basically all you need to know about this movie. Heavily reliant on the chase and shock of the activites rather than the gore so dont expect this movie to be too messy of an ordeal.
