Plot: Documentary based on the television show.
ECW changed the face of wrestling in the US, and it gets little credit for doing so. They brought us hardcore rasslin', lucha libre, and made it accessible for smaller guys to get ahead like Chris Jericho, Benoit, and Guerrero. It all started with a bunch of old cats. Then, enter Funk, Sabu, and Douglas. The company took off and started to scare the big two of the day. Heyman knew how to write a story and get the most out of his crew. ECW did it the best in the 90's.
A glorious history of the late, great ECW (Which the new WWECW just can't compare to).....it is a bit slanted to be Pro WWE, but not enough to kill the awesomness of this 2 disc set.
i love wrestling thats why i watch this. but i dont like ECW....it sucks to me and i think that ECW is barbarick... WWE is better..the story line of WWE is good. and ECW is sucks..
Considering its a WWE production this documentary pretty much tells it like it was - from those now on WWE contracts. For the other wrestlers point of view check out Forever Hardcore!
good dvd, but shame about ecdub now, becaus it no ecdub! fuck vince for shitting on ecdub. r.i.p ecw
