Wonderful movie...
Yeah, The third one and The most exciting one.
All the cast did their best.
Every thing is cool.
I really like it. -
Well, people. This is NOT A GREAT execution for what they've did for the past 6 years. But anyway, it's enough to kick Singer's ass so that the moron know that it was a bad decision to leave this movie for Superman Returns. It's just not cool. And now you know what I mean.
The main problem is, Ratner was too damn care focusing about the battle. How to make it looks possible that 5 mutants triumph over hundreds. And he failed, it's only seems to be possible if you shut your brain off. And I understand that Ratner has chosen to please everyone's will, to show all their favorite characters, but it's just not the way it should be. They were too damn many, it was like a bunch of mutants PARADING the street on the 4th of July. So they were all abandoned, thank God we still have the first two movies where we can actually find the real character for each mutants. Anyway, The Dark Phoenix is the only mutant who works on this movie. Janssen played it smooth and convincing.
But still, it was easy to watch. It was eclipsing from the first two, but it was no Spider-Man 3 who sunk into the deepest base of Mariana. They still got Wolverine, a prove that these mutants still have a future and THERE IS NO CURE FOR THE MUTANTS. -
Not happy, nope, am not happy. I loved the first two X-Men movies, but this one disappointed me to no end. First of all, there is no explaination of Wolverine. His origin is still a mystery. Yeah, I know, we all got a good idea of it in the 2nd one but I wanted details. Then the way they dealt with the return of Jean was terrible, hated them killing Scott, and was just...ahhh!!!! Not a happy person here. But I give it two and a half for the eagle guy and for Hugh Jackman because I simply him as Wolverine.

The third X-Men movie got slammed by the hardcore fanatics. However, there's much to enjoy if you're a casual fan. The epic scale helps make this action-packed entry very exciting, while the two hour running time just flew by. Plus, Wolverine gets plenty of screen time and let's face it - he's awesome.

The last stand was a big dissapointement, maybe because the way the movie build up, or many of it's important character was killed?
Bottom line, still enjoyable as we can witness the war between bad and good side, and we can see additional Mutants.
It's better to remake this movie again and make Bryan singer as the director or make a continuation and still Bryan's lead.
7/10. -
I did not want it to end. The way they continued with the prejudice against mutants storyline was superb. I hope that X-Men Origins does just as well.
-
escape from orginallity. wolverine wasnt in the orininal x-men.but he became the hero.but stil good scenes.
-
Good Film and visual effects and sound but worst of the trilogy because I think there were too many villains in it and the story was very weak just like Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer. But I enjoyed this one more than that. It doesnt have a real like action-packed emotional yet tense plot like the first two films did.
-
I LOVE X-MEN!!!!!!!!!!! YES. though i thought 3 was not my favorite, it was action packed and awesome. can't go wrong with mutants
-
The Last Stand had the most mutants, but the worst plot out of the three X-Men movies. It was quite exciting but not anything spectacular.
-
While disappointing on first viewing due to too-high expectations it was much more enjoyable the second time around.
-
Just when you think the 1st and 2nd movies couldn't get any better, the 3rd jumps in and blows them away, B.A. movie.
-
décevant la façon dont le phénix meurt : pas assez proportionnel aux bd selon-moi...
mais vrm bon pareil !!!! -
Love it...I don't like how everyone dies...how the hell did wolverine become the leading character in X-Men?
-
Brett Ratner is a fine director - for other films. I will give him credit though. This film had some very good aspects (i.e. Beast, Storm's wig, Angel (for the 5 seconds that we saw him)); but overall it turned out to be a disappointment after the first two amazing Bryan Singer installments.

This movie doesn't suck, but it is closer to suck that it is to anything good, or worth watching. I did NOT appreciate the soap opera bs with Marie, Bobby, & Kitty. I know that they do it in the books too, but they don't harp on it, like they do in soap opera's, and like they did in this movie!
They killed off 3 of the main character's, which was f*cking dumb! It would have been more cheesy, but nonetheless better, if after she was dead everyone, including the army guys who the Phoenix shredded by the dozen at the end of the movie, came back to life. To the idea that she didn't kill them, but that the Jean Grey part of her mind/personality held the Phoenix in check enough to not completely disperse their molecules (of all those that she killed) across the universe, so that when she/Phoenix died they would have been released from that limbo & brought back into their universe whole, and alive!
WTF (where the f....) was Nightcrawler!? They deputed him in the second film & they did it in a particularly awesome manner! In this movie it's like he never existed at all! WTF is up with that... ?
This movie is sad! Thank God I saw 5 movies and paid 7 dollars, bc if I had saw only this movie, even for $7, I would have demanded my money back! -
How did this go wrong? ... well, there was the un-ceremonial death of Cyclops 15 minutes into the movie. Then killing off the best actor halfway through the movie, and just plain messy ending. I don't know what happened, but I was pretty disappointed after the awesomeness that was X2.
-
Loved the rest... did not like this. Phoenix was wrong... other stuff that I won't mention as they are spoilers... and those damn magic pants!!!
-
More disappointing than the first. The plot is really good, but it was ruined due to a different director in the franchise, other movie obligations from the actors that resulted in their roles cut short in this movie, and came down to a total, horrible mess of an ending. I wonder, if there will be an X-men 4? I wonder if I'll ever want to see it after this one.
-
I LOVE X MEN BUT DIDN'T LIKE THE ENDING AND DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD BE HOW THE CHARACTERS WOULD HAVE REALLY DONE IN THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES.
-
The Last Stand is, in my oppinion very good. The effects is mutch cooler then the last two. And in this one you can se more of the mutans powers
-
