    YASAENG DONGMUL BOHOGUYYEOP (1996)
    directed by Kim Ki-Duk
starring Jae-hyeon Jo, Dong-jik Jang, Ryun Jang

Wild Animals is Kim Ki-Duk second movie. It looks like a movie coming right out of the 80's with the poor image quality and the annoying soundtrack. Most of the actors arent really good, it basically looks like a student movie. Although we can see a first glimpse of Kim Ki-Duk's mind and the way he builds his stories.

I saw this film with no subtitles but hopefully it was set in France and lots of the dialogues were in French. Kim Ki-Duk makes a point with his film but he doesnt really know how to say it yet. There is too much useless nudity but the filmmaker loves arts and it shows. The last half hour saved the entire picture. The whole movie was building towards that lethal powerful ending. Its clumsy and naive but it has good intentions.
