Well, I must say this movie could have been done a lot more impressively and more truefully to the real life history but even like the way this is, this is freaki' awesome and hilariious movie with touching themes.
I would have appreciated then leaving the old guy wanna-be dude out and telling this story like they did the first part and pat garrett really shooting the Kid like he did - that way this movie would be so much more impressive and powerful.
But even this way, completely captivating and entertaining and so worth watching in the least.
The trailer for this movie is probably the most hilarious one I have ever seen - though it doesn't give the whooe picture of the story - the movie has deeper and more serious themes too even though the trailer makes it seem like an action-comedy...
And Emilio still rocks as the Kid. Oh man, he's teh ULTIMATE chhoice for the character for every possible reason!! -

Whith Jon Bon Jovi's Classic Blaze of Glory as the theme tune to the sequel to the first movie it continues the adventures of one of the greatest outlaws in the American Old West History and this movie leaves an open question of did Billy the Kid escape death and continue living till an old age

Young Guns 2 is an always entertaining sequel. I like it more than the original infact. I like the entire cast, they all do good work.
It's almost solid but it has a few flaws in the end. I also don't think the transition Pat Garrett takes from outlaw to lawman works that much either.
Despite a dark and vioelnt script this movie still manages to be fun. The soundtrackis great as well. -

I prefer this movie to the first one - I'm pretty sure I saw this at least twice in the theatre when it came out. And do not even get me started on Bon Jovi's "Blaze Of Glory" which was written specifically for this movie....best JBJ song ever.

one of the few sequels, besides aliens, that didn't get outdone by the first movie, it stood it's ground and held it's own.
