Close to the first, not quite as good due to the fact they try and make it to silly here and there, silly wanna be funny moments that dont work. The soundtrack is better and the action looks better. The cast is still great but its just alittle too over the top. It all looks like ...( read more)

I dont know why a lot of people canned this flick... its not as good as the first, but it was entertaining and I liked it. Its more easy going, relaxed and funny.
I guess its because of Billy the Kid's charisma, which is played well by Emilio Estevez, the Young Guns movies are ...( read more) -

Simular to young guns but just not varied enough from the first, really good for girls who easily get crushes on cowboys.

March 29, 2009Damn these are seriosuly under-rated movies here on Flixter! Shame on you! :o Well, I must say this movie could have been done a lot more impressively and more truefully to the real life history but even like the way this is, this is freaki' awesome and hilariious movie with touching themes. I would have appreciated then leaving the old guy wanna-be dude out and telling this story like they did the first part and pat garrett really shooting the Kid like he did - that way this movie would be so much more impressive and powerful. But even this way, completely captivating and entertaining and so worth watching in the least. The trailer for this movie is probably the most hilarious one I have ever seen - though it doesn't give the whooe picture of the story - the movie has deeper and more serious themes too even though the trailer makes it seem like an action-comedy... And Emilio still rocks as the Kid. Oh man, he's teh ULTIMATE chhoice for the character for every possible reason!!
