When he makes the mistake of telling his associate about the plot, Hua ends up beaten within an inch of his life. Soon after Hua takes refugee at this buddy Fei Chun's (Hung) house, Mo's henchmen murders Chun's mother -- hoping to force Hua out into the open. Instead, Chun enlists the support of humorless kung-fu master Liang Tsan (Leung Kar-yan), who specializes in the Wing Chun form, to teach the two to defend themselves.
