    Zatoichi comes full circle and returns to his hometown after 20 years wandering. This isn't technically the last film but it is the last of the incredible 2, and on a couple of occasions 3 films a year series that lasted 11 years. It's a pretty good finale too, it really is… More

    Could also be called Zatoichi comes full circle. For the 2nd to the last outing, the formula deviates a bit, but not too much. There seems to be a bit more tangible risk to Zatoichi both physically and emotionally. This would have been a satisfying end to the series.
