Deslumbrante la belleza de todas las mujeres que actuan en la pelicula.

    A story of a boy living on the countryside with is grandfather. Then the boy goes to the nearest city to accomplish the grandfather's last wishes: to buy a religious icon, a souvenir, and find himself a wife to marry. You can imagine what comes after. Not Kusturica's best film, b...( read more)ut worthy seeing! Some nice gags, but without the novelties and the creativity of the first ones. I spent a good moment seeing it, though.

    The skills of directing and cinematography, as well as the presence of two brilliant Serbian actors (Aleksandar Bercek, Miki Manojlovic) have raised my rating for 0.5 stars. I hate it when the actors are forced to overact, following the director's orders for exaggerating - if som...( read more)eone would argue with me and point that every character is a prototype of a personality which actually can be easily found in real life, that it's refined sarcasm we see, I would consider it as pure nonsense. Someone has made a terrible mistake for lying Kusturica that he has written a funny storyline.

    At the top of a hill insulated at the bottom from the Serb countryside live Tsane, his/her grandfather and their Cvetka cow.
    With their neighbor the teacher, they are the only inhabitants of the village.
    One day, the grandfather of Tsane announces to him that it soon will die a...( read more)nd makes him promise that it will cross the three hills to join the city nearest and to sell Cvetka at the market. With the collected money, it will have to buy an icon and a memory. Lastly, it will have to find a wife.
    Arrived downtown, Tsane does not have any difficulty with exaucer the first wishes of his/her grandfather. But how to make to find one promised in marriage and to convince it to follow it to the village before his/her grandfather does not disappear? by Emir Kusturica-2007.

    I love Kusturica! The universe he plays in are totally original. Thumbs up for craziness and Bosnien loonesy. I was entertained and I laughed at the corny jokes. I promise you this!
