A nuclear facility located atop an accursed Indian burial ground leaks radiation into the earth, unleashing a horde of cannibalistic ghouls to prey upon the local populace. The zombies aren't particularly menacing, although there are some graphically bloody scenes of gutspilling on display. Overall, a prime example of the subgenre termed "carnography" for its porn-like method of taking a few graphic scenes involving bodily fluids (in this case, blood) and surrounding them with a perfunctory, poorly executed story. Sheets' cheeky humor makes him more interesting than many carnographers. He returned the following year with Zombie Bloodbath II: Rage of the Undead. Chris Harris co-stars with Auggi Alarez, Frank Dunlay, and co-writer Jerry Angell. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
