Beyonce Wanted Bigger 'Dreamgirls' Role.

I wish she would give it up!! She has been in this business for 10yrs and still she is not satisfied. J-Hud played Effie White and she did a good job at it!! Beyonce can not act, I mean look at Fighting Temptations!!! Acting is not her forte! I'm all for J-Hud, do your thing girl!!! You deserved that Oscar! Beyonce, all I have to say is, take some acting lessons and maybe, just maybe you can win an Oscar one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No.Beonce's voice fits today.not the 60's.U have 2 have a certain feel 4 wat ur signging or it won't b right.She can act but she's had her chance 2b famous.Let someone else have a chance.It's also stupid 4 someone sooo skiny 2 play someone sooo big.Even jenifer needed 2 gain weight.The only reason I'm blabing so much is bcause I'm in the play Dreamgirls and the movie cut out alot of scenes and songs.maybe i should shut up...

naw, Beyonce was definately Deena. No question about it. I don't think it was about the acting, course she's isn't the greatest, but I think it was more her voice type.

I can't see Beyonce playing the role that Jennifer Hudson played. It fit Hudson way better. Beyonce was better in the role she played.

too bad beyonce..but seriously, i don't think she could have handled the role of effie better than jennifer did...she deserved that golden globe!
