7) East High School is a real school in Salt Lake City, Utah. The only difference is that their school mascot is not a wildcat, but a leopard. This was changed for the movie, probably because wildcats are better actors.
8) Kelsie's fall had to be shot many times because the paper wouldn't behave. It would either stick, or fly off stage in the wrong place. Never work with paper, as the old Hollywood saying goes.
9) Ryan Evans wore nine different hats during this movie. This is what we call a hat trick.
