Lionsgate has announced it will be releasing Dirty Dancing and Basic Instinct, along with award-winning tv show Weeds on High-definition Blu-ray Discs. Ultimate Avengers and Ultimate Avengers 2 are also scheduled for a High-Definition release.

Dates of release and prices are not yet decided. By end of 2007, Lionsgate hopes to have 40 high-definition Blu-ray titles on the market.

    Restoring the classics is to our advantage. I think the film is for an adult to enjoy. It is mild in comparison to some of todays modern movies. But still ment for adults to see in my opinion. Romance, dancing and drama all roled in one. Enjoy, if you are into this type of movie. diane
