a while ago, i had read that there are to be 6 installments of the spiderman movies. hearing of a fourth is almost oldnews, now who will be in the story is interesting enough to wait for. dont worry people, marvel has made too much money to give up on him now!!!

this movie sounds really interesting i am looking forward to watching it!

eventually, i'm sure the spiderman franchise will lose steam, but for now it seems like a promising thing. The only series I've seen succeed so far was the Star Wars universe...but then again Lucas waited 20 years to continue it, which gave him tons of time to come up with more characters, angles, and all. It would be sad if Spiderman died.

I heard some-where that they were making 6 spiderman films, and this is tobey's last film as spiderman.
The spiderman films are my favourite films all round soo of course the 3rd is going to even better!!

Would be great if it happens, but news on the grape vine is that they are going to make the 3rd movie the final spiderman because they didnt want it running on and on like the batman movies. Personally i dont think they should make a forth with Venom being in the 3rd, afterall he was the ultimate villan to me.

theres a problem with making all these comic books into movies, there are infinate possiblities. they have been making comics for over fifty years.

with that said anyone got a guess for the villian, im thinking Carnage and possibly Beetle.

As long as they have Venom in it i'll go see it, if it wasn't for Venom i wouldn't be seeing 3. But 4 will probably be the end, Tobey wants to stop doing Spiderman Movies, he wants to be seen as something other than Spiderman.

Yeah I agree with the meeting the X-Men but not just them. It could be a whole Marvel film - the final encounter to destroy all evil! But it couldn't be called spiderman4 if that was the case. it'd have to have Marvel in the title

Spider-Man 3 is like Spider-Man 2 for having part of the cartoon series made into a film. In Spider-Man 2 it had Dr. Octavious turning into his Doc Oc self; now this Spider-Man 3 will be about how Peter's Spidey suit turns black with venom (which was suitably named as Venom). The more interesting part of the Spider-Man series that I would like to see is when Spider-Man actually turns into a large spider (starting with getting extra arms and then having more symtoms and eventually tunring into the full spider).

But if they got rid of Toby McGuire then I would personally be put off the future films that they make of Spider-Man, EVEN the one that I would like to see made!

The Spider-Man movie i am waiting to see is from Carnage, Venom and Spider-Man, also i am counting the days for Spider-Man 3 because here in Puerto Rico this movie start in May 3 , 2007. Here never a movie start friday only wednesnady or thusrday.

Spiderman is a bigger character than the actor that plays him, the franchise will be alright even without Toby, assuming he doesn't come back. There's always renegotiating a contract.

But Tobey Maguire who plays Spider-man has already said he will only do 3 films, and Kirsten Dunst has also said the same. How can they make a 4th one without two of the main cast members, it's gonna look strange!
