Russell T Davies has revealed that he wants pop star Britney Spears to appear in an episode of Doctor Who.

Rather than asking Spears to help the Doctor to save the world, the show's writer Russell T Davies wants her to be cast as a group of aliens cloned to look like the 25-year-old singer.

"I'd love Britney to do it - it would be so much fun," Davies is quoted by the Daily Star as saying. "I'm not sure if she'll come to Cardiff where the show is shot so I'm nagging the BBC to fund a Hollywood special."

    no no no i personaly think britney isn't an actress, but a singer and a second rate singer at that. I hate it when people try to be something there not and she so isn't an actress and should just, in my opinion, keep her big ugly mug of tv

    I think it would be fabulous too to get Britney Spears in Doctor who But please, please! Don't make it go to Hollywood, it would be brillent, one to see Britney come to Cardiff, but not only that to be in Doctor Who in Cardiff! That and/or Torchwood! Because their a Wales production, it so shouldn't be publicised to Hollywood as they'll ruin it. I'm not saying all things are bad in Hollywood, but just don't ruin Doctor Who as thats what I like about it being in our home town and has cool people to act in it. But please it would be utter greatness if you could get Britney Spears in it in Cardiff! Because even if you go to America it is so bigger place to ever meet any one like her, I think she is a much nicer person than any one would like to think. And she has just been dragged through the rich and fame in the wrong way. As many of the actors (etc) have most think its about fame and money, if it were me I would just being doing it for pure enjoyment in Creativity!
