No More "Ghostbusters" and "Aliens" Says Sigourney Weaver Sigourney Weaver spoke to the Desert Sun about the end of "Alien" and "Ghostbusters" sequels. When asked if she had any interest in doing another "Alien" film, Weaver replied: "I love the character, but I think the monster, once they did the other film (Alien vs. Predator), which I never saw, but that really maxes our monster out."

On the topic of "Ghostbusters," Weaver believes that the franchise is over. Even though Dan Aykroyd confirmed a CG animated film earlier, Weaver says: "I think all of us are busy doing so many thing and it's wonderful all the films are so well loved and they certainly were fun to do. But I think if you do it right the first time, sometime it's better to move on to something else."

    I agree with what she said, its better to leave them all as lovable then annoying remakes or extra's. it can ruin them all if more was made and didnt hit the spot, so to speak. I love all the movies. Nice job!

    It could be interesting if a new movie of Alien would be created. Obviously, Sigourney has had enough of this type of movie, It is a bit pity, actually, she did like the character anyway.

    No Offence Sigourney, but we (the fans, the Audience) do not need You to be in another Ghostbusters, sure that would be nice, but even Dan and Bill and Rick and the others do not need to come back to the Series, there is no reason that the mantle cannot be passed on to a "New Generation" perhaps even making an Darker version of the film. there are still many ways that the Ghostbusters line could go down...
